FAQ
- Is the minimum a surcharge?
- No. The minimum is inclusive: it covers the first minimum amount of usage and is not added on top.
- What happens when compute scales to zero?
- Compute usage stops while scaled to zero. Storage continues to accrue while it is retained.
- Can I set a spend cap?
- Yes. Organization managers can configure a monthly cap from Billing in hard stop or alert-only mode. Alerts are raised at 50%, 80%, and 100%. At 100%, hard stop raises the cap alert; enforcement is not enabled and compute is not paused. Comped organizations are monitored but never hard-stopped.
- Is there a free tier?
- There is no free tier. Build minutes include the monthly allowance shown in the rate card.
- How is copy-on-write storage billed?
- Copy-on-write storage bills the physical changed blocks you consume, not the logical size of every branch.
